Expo Details:

The Real Food, Real Indiana Expo hopes to achieve the following:
–Serve as a benefit for businesses that are members of
Indiana Foodways Alliance by providing them with a venue
to showcase and sell their products to a broader audience.
–Strive to make the public more aware of the availability of
        Indiana-made food.
–Raise awareness of Indiana Foodways Alliance and its
efforts to help local food businesses succeed.

We are hosting the first expo in Muncie because of Indiana Foodways Alliance's more than year-long relationship with Ball State University's Business Fellows immersive learning program. Ball State students who are members of the Indiana Foodways Alliance Business Fellows team are organizing the expo as their class project this semester. If the first Real Food, Real Indiana Expo is a success, our plans are to take the expo on the road and repeat the event in different Indiana cities.

We are having the event at Minnetrista because of its generosity and willingness to work with Indiana Foodways Alliance on this project. Minnetrista is a major donor for this event and was one of the early organizations to join Indiana Foodways Alliance.
