If you said pickles is one of the Indiana five P's, that would have been a very good guess. Sechler's, which makes 39 varieties of pickles, and is oftentimes sold for fundraisers all over the nation, is located in St. Joe, IN, near Fort Wayne. Sechler's has been in business since 1923. The company is the only major pickle manufacturer to continue to use sugar instead of corn syrup to sweeten its pickling brine.
