Route 66 is similar alternative to the famous Triple XXX Restaurant located near the Purdue Campus as featured on the Food Network's Diners and Drive-ins, but with more space and a 1029 Diner motif. Some of the many favorite menu items include the Duane Purvis Burger which features thick, creamy peanut butter on top of 1/4 lb patty of 100% ground sirloin beef, the Boilermaker Pete which is a triple decker of 1/3 lb signature ground sirloin served with American cheese and grilled onions, and finally, the Drew Brees First Choice Chicken Fried Steak breakfast fair that includes 2 eggs any style, and of course, chicken fried steak.
