Janes Gourmet opened its doors in the summer of 1993. What started out as a small specialty and gourmet sandwich shop has since expanded into a full scale restaurant and catering business. Janes was the Small Business of the Year in 2003 and was voted Lafayettes Best Caterer in 2009.

Serving Lunch Monday  Saturday, Janes specializes in fresh, healthy and homemade sandwiches and salads. Each day there are two made from scratch soups as well a daily lunch special. Local and organic products are used as much as possible to ensure customers are getting the finest ingredients.

Janes Catering can make any event a special event. From a small business lunch to a 200 person wedding, Janes strives to make sure every last detail is addressed. Box lunches, cakes, buffet style and plated dinners are just some of the services offered. With a two way liquor license, Janes can provide beer and wine for any occasion a customer may have. Jane takes pride in giving her customers a beautiful, well thought, and delicious catering event.

As well as the Restaurant and Catering Services, Janes Gourmet also has a small specialty grocery. Here you can find local products like cheese, chocolates, and sauces.
