The owner, Sandra Tossou, is very well trained, studying and receiving a bachelors degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. She has worked with pastries in several kitchens including the Conrad in Indianapolis, Peninsula Hotel in Chicago and spending a couple years working in a bakery in Ireland, among others and is ready to take on any challenge you can throw at her. They have recently had designs featured in Indiana publications Heartland and Wedding Day magazines.

Well, enough about them, lets get to what you really care about& the food! Well, my mouth watered as soon as I saw the cupcakes, cookies and cake balls in the display, they looked so pretty, I almost didnt want to eat! (Notice I said almost! Im a sucker for buttercream frosting) I had to start with the cupcake, as I love frosting! It was perfect! The frosting was very smooth and no aftertaste like you have at some bakeries and the cake was just the right consistency and moist, just as it should be. The cookie was cake like in its texture, very soft and the icing was surprisingly soft not crispy as it appeared. The last thing I taste tested was the cake balls. On this particular day, they had a lemon and a mint chocolate one for us to try. Oh my gosh! I dont think I have ever tasted any kind of cake product more heavenly! It was super moist and seemed to just dissolve in your mouth, leaving behind that wonderful flavor, had I not known better, I almost would have thought I was eating a truffle. The lemon tasted just like the perfect lemon curd and the mint chocolate reminded me of the famous Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookie, only not as crispy. Yum! Makes my mouth water just thinking about it!
