No, this restaurant isnt named after the movie Black Swan but it is named after the Black Swan Theory, a theory that explains unusual or odd occurrences. Now that may seem strange but maybe it would make more sense if I tell you the owner of the restaurant has an undergraduate degree in Physics and an MBA, Google Black Swan Theory, it may make more sense now.

Anyway, the name doesnt matter much because this restaurant has awesome food! Not only do they try to get all their food as local as possible (they use local Bison, brats and seasonal items, Indiana bourbons, vodka, wine and drink mixes, etc.) but it also tastes amazing! Who would have thought to toss specialized seasonings on French Fries and make a fancy dip for them, isnt ketchup and salt enough? Well if you think so you havent tried the Black Swan Fries! You will never eat a regular fry again! They have spice mixes such as herbs, BBQ, Truffle oil and Parmesan, salt and pepper, sea salt and vinegar as well as sweet coconut and spice. And some of the dips are: sun dried tomato aioli, bacon aioli, peppadew aioli, chipotle aioli as well as the Pineapple Habanero aioli. Now we tried the Sweet coconut and spice toss with the Pineapple Habanero aioli but I cant wait to go back to try all the others! If you like the fries you must try the Beef Carbonnade for your entrée! Its a Belgian style beef, beer and onion stew served over their S&P Fries! Delish! Their Reuben and Bison Burgers are very tasty as well.

Well, this is a brewpub and I havent even talked about their beers yet. Probably because Im not a beer person but Im sure all you beer people out there will really love their beers. Im told that the IPA is the most popular beer but although its seasonal the Bourbon Barrel Oatmeal Stout is also very popular. The Bourbon Barrel Oatmeal Stout use barrels from a Lawrenceburg, Indiana distillery to make the beer. Youve just got to make the trip and even if you dont like beer, Im sure you will love their food!
